Hearts2Hearts addressed the friendly coincidence of sharing a 'lemon' theme with their senior labelmate, Aespa.
According to reports from Sports DongA on the 22nd, Hearts2Hearts held a press showcase for their second mini-album 'Lemon Tang' at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Itaewon, Seoul.
Given that Aespa recently made headlines with their latest track 'Lemonade,' reporters asked Hearts2Hearts about using the same fruit theme. Jiwoo shared a heartwarming interaction they shared with Aespa:
"We recently met Karina Sunbaenim to film a dance challenge together. She mentioned how interesting it was that we were both making comebacks with a lemon theme."
Jiwoo also explained how the two groups put completely different spins on the exact same concept:
"If Aespa Sunbaenim's 'Lemonade' focuses on a cool, thrilling sour flavor, our 'Lemon Tang' focuses more on being refreshing and sweet when we are together, emphasizing how we shine brighter in each other's company."
Hearts2Hearts will continue their promotions tonight, hosting a fan showcase at 8 PM (KST) at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall to celebrate the release of their new song with fans.
Meanwhile, 'Lemon Tang' will be released on all major music streaming platforms today at 6 PM (KST).
