Movie 'No Other Choice' surpassed 2 million viewers on October 6, just 13 days after its release, and unveiled its 4th official poster.
Previously, the movie hit 1 million viewers in just 4 days after its release and easily exceeded its break-even point of about 1.3 million. By hitting 2 million viewers on the 13th day, the movie has now surpassed the final score of 'Decision to Leave' (1.9 million viewers). This achievement further proves Park Chanwook's power.
'No Other Choice' tells the story of Mansu (played by Lee Byunghun), an office worker who once thought he had achieved everything in life, only to be suddenly fired. As he fights to protect his wife, two children, and the house he worked so hard to purchase, he embarks on a desperate personal battle toward re-employment.
-Hul, that's surprising.
-Oh... That's lower than I thought.
-Oh, it passed 2 million viewers. I was a bit worried since the reactions were so mixed, but I actually enjoyed it. It seems to be Park Chanwook's most mainstream movie so far.
-I actually enjoyed watching it.
-It was fun. I'm gonna watch it once again on the holidays.
-It was good. It was my first time watching Park Chanwook's movie in theaters and it seems pretty mainstream.
-Whoa... I'm surprised the number is that low. I thought it'd be higher.
-I was worried because the reviews weren't great, but I actually enjoyed it.
-Definitely the most friendly and mainstream one among Park Chanwook's other movies.
-It was really good. I didn't have high expectations at first.
-When it started to get boring, it got really fun.
-The movie was good. It was better than I expected. It gave me a lot to think about. Personally, I think Son Yejin's acting was amazing. Her role wasn't as explosive as others, but for some reason, she left the strongest impression on me.
-Hul... 'Decision to Leave' was the best movie I have ever seen in my life and only 1.9 million viewers..?ㅠㅠ
-Isn't this Park Chanwook's most mainstream movie ever?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
-Lee Byunghun looks so old... Why is that the only thing I could notice throughout the movie?ㅡㅡ
